Our Building
In 2022, Prince of Peace Completed a major renovation of its Nave, Sanctuary, Sacristy, Narthex, and Fellowship Parlor. Chairs replaced pews, and the altar, organ, and pulpit were placed on movable bases to allow easy configuration for church-based programs and community programs. New flooring includes a spectacular Labyrinth (patterned after the one in the Chartres Cathedral in France) for individual and group contemplative prayer. Honoring the history of the building and its features, wood from the original pews was repurposed into support beams and all memorials were preserved. The project was recognized in a regional competition of notable, architectural building projects.
